Those cars really go fast, as we follow an outsider getting qualified for the Redline (most prestigious race). The story slowly unfolds, with few action scenes here and then, until the final race that last about 1/3 of the movie, and gets crazier and crazier as the race takes place on a planet where the military power tries to stop it by any means. We get a very good speed feeling from the drawings and the excellent techno music on top of it. |

| Thu, May 12, 2011 | The disappearance of Alice Creed | 2010 | Film from UK: 2 guys kidnap a girl and ask for a ransom, and it is the only 3 characters we will see in the whole movie. The actors are good, and we never stop to be surprised, as slowly the kidnapped takes power over the 2 guys. Even too many surprises as at some point it becomes not really credible. Hopefully this is just a moment and the ending is not disappointing. |
